At Centreville branch only, the Friends of QAC Library are accepting donations of very good to excellent condition books and media (DVD, audio books) on August 18 from 300 pm to 7:00 pm.  Donations will be sold at the Centreville branch book sale on August 19-21. Yes, the Friends of the Library book sale is back!  We are holding the Member's Preview and Sale on August 19 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Not a member yet?  You may join the evening of the preview, or by going to the Membership tab on the website, and you will have early access to the book sale.

The Friends of the Library Book Sale is back!   Mark your calendars for the Book Sale on August 20 and 21. Coming up this month!  We're having a Literary Lunch discussion of A Walk in the Wood: Rediscovering American on the Appalachian Trail by Bill Bryson.  We will meet at Ram's Head Shore House in Stevensville.

Please join us at Ram's Head Shore House in Stevensville (800 Main Street) and enjoy dinner out while supporting the Friends of QAC Library.  The Friends will receive a portion of all food sales when you dine between 5:00 to 9:30 pm on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled to be in line with library restrictions on library programming due to the surge of COVID-19 cases in Maryland.  

The Annual Meeting for the Friends of Queen Anne's County Library will be recorded and available for viewing in late February.  In the week prior, you will receive an email with a link to vote on the Friend's new slate of directors and on the minutes of the 2021 Annual Meeting.  You will receive a second email with a link to view a video of the Friends of QAC Library activities and accomplishments in 2021. We hope you click on the links in the upcoming emails to hear an update of Friends activities during 2021, elect new directors, and approve the prior year's minutes. We sincerely look forward to seeing you in person in March, 2023 for the Friends 2022 Annual Meeting.    

We're having a one-day book sale at the Centreville branch on Sunday, March 20 from 9 am to 3 pm.  This is preceded by a book donation day at Centreville on Saturday, March 19 from 9 am to 1 pm.
