About our speaker, Brent Lewis:
Brent Lewis is a native Eastern Shoreman with Queen Anne’s County roots going back generations. For ten years he conducted an oral history program under the auspices of the Kent Island Heritage Society. He has written two nonfiction books, Remembering Kent Island: Stories from the Chesapeake and A History of the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department, and in 2015 he self-published his novel Bloody Point: 1976. Brent has always loved libraries and is old enough to remember the excitement of visiting a bookmobile.
