Book/DVD Donations @ Centreville Branch
July 19, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The Friends of Queen Anne’s County Library will be collecting your donations of good-quality used books and DVDs at the Centreville Branch of Queen Anne’s County Library on Wednesday, July 19 from 4pm – 6pm. Donations can be brought to the back entrance of the building, where volunteers can help you move bags or boxes of books from your car.
Materials collected during the Donation Day will replenish the inventory for the Friends’ Used Book Nooks at both the Kent Island and Centreville Branches and our upcoming August book sale. Sales of gently-used books are a major source of revenue for the Friends of the Library, which is proud to provide funding to Queen Anne’s County Library to enhance, enrich, and expand programs and resources available throughout our community.
As you pull together materials to donate, thank you for taking care in following the Friends’ donation guidelines. We can only accept materials that are in good condition, without wear-and-tear, and are still current.
