Kent Island Donation Days
April 18 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
The Friends of Queen Anne’s County Library will be collecting your donations of good-quality used books at the Kent Island Branch of Queen Anne’s County Library on Wednesday, April 17, from 12noon to 6pm and Thursday, April 18, from 10am-2pm.
Due to limited storage space, the Friends can accept a maximum of 2 bags/boxes of books per household.
Materials collected during the Donation Day will replenish the inventory for the Friends’ Used Book Nooks at both the Kent Island and Centreville Branches and our upcoming April book sale. Sales of gently-used books are a major source of revenue for the Friends of the Library, which is proud to provide funding to Queen Anne’s County Library to enhance, enrich, and expand programs and resources available throughout our community.
As you pull together materials to donate, thank you for taking care in following the Friends’ donation guidelines. We can only accept materials that are in good condition, without wear-and-tear, and are still current.
