Friends, we have decided to postpone our Spirit Day at Sweet Frog. We love this annual event–it brings together families from all across the community to celebrate the library and to foster youth reading. Given public health conditions, we are opting to postpone this event to a later date when we’ll be able to all be together in a comfortable and safe way.

Thank you to sweetFrog Kent Island (Kent Island, MD) for their ongoing and consistent support of the Friends of the Library, and so many community organizations. Sweet Frog remains open–including providing curbside service–and is happy to provide a refreshing break from these most hot & humid days!!

The Friends of the Library is happy to partner with Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt for the fifth straight year for our annual Summer Spirit Day! Sweet Frog will donate proceeds from sales on Thursday, July 23 to the Friends of the Library, while the Friends will be there to provide new books to kids (aged 0-12). There will be special events throughout the day, all designed around social distancing and staying safe. (Sweet Frog does offer curbside service.)
