4th Annual Sweet Frog Spirit Day
Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt 200 Abruzzi Drive, Suite A, Chester, MD, United StatesJoin us for the 4th Annual Friends of the Library Spirit Day at Sweet Frog frozen yogurt! Sweet Frog will generously donate a portion of all proceeds from treats sold on Thursday, July 12, with the Friends of the Library. Kids who come in will be able to pick out a new book to take home with them to enjoy (while supplies last), compliments of the Friends.
Dinner Out for Friends of Queen Anne’s County Library

Bay to Ocean: An Evening with the Eastern Shore Writers Association
Centreville Library 121 S Commerce St., Centreville, MD, United StatesThe Friends of Queen Anne’s County Library invite you to an evening of readings and discussions with authors of Bay to Ocean 2018: The Year’s Best Writing from the Eastern Shore Writers Association. Featured authors attending include Brent Lewis, Ann Hymes, Nancy McCloy, David Healey, and Barbara Lockhart. This event is part of the celebration of National Friends of the Library Week in Queen Anne’s County.
Meet the (Children’s) Author with Friends of the Library!
Chic-Fil-A 1845 Main Street, Chester, MDKids and their caregivers are invited to meet local author Carol Franks-Randall, as she reads from her newest book Playground Heroes, about how two spirited girls stand up to bullies on the playground. Copies of Playground Heroes will be for available for purchase at the event and will be signed by the author. Word search and coloring sheets will be available to attendees while supplies last. Event recommended for kids aged 5-11.

End-of-Winter (Mini) Book Sale

We’ll have a wide selection of books to choose from--adult fiction, history, biographies, cookbooks, kids’ books, and more. As always, our prices will be hard to beat: $1 for adult titles, and kids books for 4/$1.
Rams Head Give-Back Night for Friends of the Library
