Attendees will be provided with professional instruction and all the supplies (including pendants, and a huge selection of decorative papers, charms, beads, and more) to design and make a unique necklace. Members-Only Preview Sale
Kent Island Library 200 Library Circle, Stevensville, MD, United StatesOpen to Friends Members only. (Interested individuals can join at the event.) Come get the first look at the books that will be available for sale at the Friends’ annual Used Book Sale. Friends members can peruse the stacks and purchase their selections prior to the opening of the general sale. Please note that this members-only event is only at the Kent Island branch of the library.
Friends Annual Book Sale–Centreville
Centreville Library 121 S Commerce St., Centreville, MD, United StatesThe Annual Book Sale of the Friends of QAC Library will offer thousands of used books—including novels, coffee table books, cookbooks, travel books, biographies, histories, and children’s books, as well as DVDs and CDs—for sale for as little as 25 cents and no more than $1 per title. Come stock up for you, your family, and friends. Shoppers can also buy a bag of books for $10, using a bag supplied by the Friends (while supplies last). Book sales will be held at both Queen Anne’s County branches--at Kent Island and Centreville, with similar inventory at both locations. The sale starts at 9:00am at both libraries and will close at 2:00pm. All proceeds from the Annual Book Sale will be used to support library programming and enhance equipment at both branches.
