Literary Lunch Book Club: Virtual Edition
January 6, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Free
A pandemic won’t stop us from talking about great books!! All current Friends of Queen Anne’s County Library members are invited to join in for a virtual book club, focused on Kim Michele Richardson’s The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek. This book has so much to offer for book lovers, fans of historical fiction, those interested in Appalachian culture, and–of course–for library advocates!!
Those planning to attend should RSVP below (on this webpage), and you’ll be sent a link to a Zoom meet-up in advance of the January 6th session.
Given the limited access to our library buildings right now, we’ve selected a book that you can access using Queen Anne County Library online services: The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek is accessible as an e-book as well as an audiobook via Hoopla. (If you haven’t used Hoopla before, you’ll just need your library card number to sign up for this great service provided by the Library.)
Looking forward to talking about this wonderful book with all of you!
