Sweet Frog Spirit Day

Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt 200 Abruzzi Drive, Suite A, Chester, MD, United States

Join us for the Fifth Annual Friends of the Library Spirit Day at Sweet Frog frozen yogurt! Sweet Frog will generously donate a portion of all proceeds from treats sold on Thursday, July 11, with the Friends of the Library. Kids (up to age 12) who come in will be able to pick out a new book to take home with them to enjoy (while supplies last), compliments of the Friends. And anyone wearing his/her 2019 “Universe of Stories" Summer Reading Program shirt has the chance to win special prizes!

Book Donation Day

U-Haul Storage Center 461 Pullman Crossing, Grasonville, MD, United States

While the Friends of the Library accept donations of gently used books, CDs, and DVDs throughout the year at Kent Island and Centreville libraries, a lack of storage space limits the amount of donations we can generally manage. During summer, though, the Friends are able to accept donations of large collections of books at an offsite storage facility. Just pull your car up to the U-Haul Storage center on one of our three Book Donation Days, and load all of your books onto a cart to be taken away!
