The Friends of Queen Anne’s County Library Spelling Bee is set for Thursday, October 20th, and teams are lining up to go after the title of top spellers in the county!!
Among those that will participate in the contest are….
- CentERville Town Clown-cil, sponsored by the Centreville Town Council
- Symphony Village Queen Bees, sponsored by Outreach of Symphony Village
- Eddie and the Miz Spellers, sponsored by Centreville Library
- Spellcasters of “Bee” Long Point Road
- Rockin’ Rotarians, sponsored by Centreville Rotarian Club
- The Autocorrectors, sponsored by the Gunston School
- The Wanna Bees, sponsored by QAC Library Board
- Book Bees, sponsored by Books in Bars Discussion Group
- Service Above Spelling, sponsored by Centreville Rotarian Club
- Spellbound Sisters, sponsored by Kent Island Yacht Club Book Club
Community members will be invited to participate as “bee watchers” on October 20 from 7:00pm-9:30pm at Wye River Upper School (316 S. Commerce St., Centreville MD).
