Volunteers Needed for Friends Annual Book Sale
The Friends of Queen Anne’s County Library will hold our Annual Book Sale on Saturday, August 27. Sales will be held at both the Kent Island and Centreville libraries this year. In addition to being a major fund-raising event, the Annual Book Sale is a great opportunity for people throughout our communities to expand their home libraries.
In order to make this as big a success as possible, the Friends need volunteers to help! Assistance is needed getting books from a storage facility to the libraries, setting up the sale, helping shoppers during the sale, and assisting in packing up any leftover books at the end of the sale day.
