Communities around the country celebrate National Friends of the Library Week to recognize the important role that the volunteers and donors that comprise Friends of the Library groups play in sustaining libraries and the crucial work that they do.
The Friends of Queen Anne’s County Library are proud of the contributions that our organization have made to our library system and to our community. Since our founding in 2014, the Friends have provided more than $95,000 to support library programs, new initiative, and equipment purchases. Members of the Friends have offered thousands of volunteer hours and have worked throughout the community to inform neighbors know about all the resources and programs available through Queen Anne’s County Library.
